The 80's super group
featuring members of Yes, The Buggles, King Crimson and Emerson, Lake and
Palmer perform their synth laden show from Tokyo with all the original
members.
Recorded in March, all the hits are there including "Heat Of The Moment",
"Only Time Will Tell" and an acoustic version of "Don't Cry."
Also, several solo's are featured.
Band members, Steve Howe (Yes) and Carl Palmer (ELP) also contribute songs
from their past groups with "Roundabout" and "Fanfare For The Common Man"
respectively. T
The DTS track offers good ambient effect and the show was shot in widescreen. Those of us who grew up on classic rock will definitely get their fill with this DVD.
This DVD captures the
band's live set at the bang your head festival in Germany last year.

New vocalist, Kelly Hansen takes over the lead vocals for ex-band member,
Lou Gramm, and it is easy to draw comparisons.
Lou is better. Hansen voice doesn't have the range and is a bit weak for
some of the rockier songs.
Their set is made up of mostly earlier material like "Double Vision" and
"Dirty White Boy." Those looking for ballads like "I Want To Know What Love
Is" will be dissapointed.
Jason Bonham, son of late Led Zeppelin drummer, John Bonham is the drummer.
Picture quality is very good and in widescreen and features numerous crotch
shots of Hansen for some reason.
The DTS track is very front focused with very little ambience in the rear
speakers. That could be due to the live festival atmosphere it was recorded
in.
For a much more fulfilling Foreigner experience, check out their "Live At
Deer Creek" DVD from a few years ago.
